Vice President JD Vance and his elite negotiating team are currently en route to Pakistan for Round Two of the peace talks. Whether the mullahs will actually take their seats at the table is anyone’s guess. Currently, they are playing "hard to get," lashing out with desperate rhetoric and accusing the United States of turning the diplomatic summit into a "table of surrender." They can call it whatever they want, but the reality is they are running out of time and options.
